Privacy, in normal words

Your brain dump is yours.

Effective September 6, 2026. This page explains what the app stores, when information leaves your device and what choices you have.

Using the app without an account

Your entries, preferences and planning information are stored in your browser on that device. They do not become a cloud backup unless you choose to sign in and enable backup.

Optional account and cloud backup

If you sign in, the app receives the account identifier and basic profile details needed to recognize you. When cloud backup is enabled, a private copy of your app information and its update history is stored so you can restore it on another device.

You can pause backup, export your information or delete the cloud copy from My App.

Voice entry and phone features

Voice recognition may be handled by your browser, operating system or phone provider. Calendar exports create a file for your device; Mom Brain Dump does not control the calendar service you choose to import it into.

Family Handoff and invitations

Family Handoff shares only the items you intentionally place in that household space. Personal brain dumps remain separate. Referral records store the minimum account identifiers and invite status needed to prevent duplicate or self-referrals and award a future free month.

Support messages

If you send feedback while signed in, the message, category, account email, page context and delivery status are stored so it can be reviewed and kept connected to you. A temporary unsent draft may remain in that browser tab until it sends or you clear it.

How information is used

  • Save, restore and sync the features you choose to use.
  • Protect accounts, prevent abuse and keep referral rewards accurate.
  • Operate and improve the service.

Mom Brain Dump does not sell your personal information or use your private entries to create advertising profiles.

Your choices

You may use the free local tools without signing in, export a backup, pause cloud backup or delete your cloud copy. Deleting browser storage or uninstalling can remove device-only information, so export anything important first. Visit the Help Center for safe steps.

Children and sensitive information

The app is designed for adults organizing family life, not for children to create accounts. Avoid recording passwords, financial account numbers, medical records or other information that does not belong in a planning app.
